Nellie May Lassiter age 88 of Springdale, AR. passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at Walnut Grove Nursing Home in Springdale. She was born April 26, 1924 in Earle, AR. to the late Enoch Pleasant & Maudie Adele Peugh Spears. She was a longtime member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Morgan Eli Lassiter; brother George Spears; sisters Adele Kruger and May Belle Conlee. Survivors include children Patsy & Naston Manley of Springdale, AR; George & Lisa Lassiter of Durham, No. Carolina; Paula & Matt Gallagher of Russellville, AR; brother Floyd & Pat Spears of Davison, MI; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Danville with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before service.
