Nicholas Howard Proscia age 73 of Dardanelle passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2020 at his home. He was born March 15, 1947 at Brooklyn, New York to the late Nicholas A. Proscia and Agnes Switzer Proscia. He was a UDT Diver in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, a commercial diver after the war, then he was captain and diver of a Spouge Boat before moving to Arkansas. He was the owner of Nick's Mobile Welding from 1997-2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Singer.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Proscia; one son, Nicholas A. Proscia; stepchildren, Tina Ball, Franklin Pennell; grandchildren, Nicholas A. Proscia, Emily M. Proscia, Nichole Smarr; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Julie Halford, Leslie Kirsh, Tiffany Fallaw, Shawna Spitts, Chuck Blesi, Matthew Kirsh and sisters-in-law, Sally McIntosh and Donna Spitts.
