Nickey "Nick" Howard Cathey, age 69 of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home. He was born June 16, 1954 in Russellville, Arkansas to John H. Cathey and Maggie Louise Parish Cathey. He loved the outdoors, loved deer hunting and worked at Tabor Metals and was a retired poultry farmer. Nick was preceded in death by his father, John Cathey; son Nickalus Cathey and his step father, Thomas Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Cathey of Dardanelle; mother, Maggie Sullivan of Russellville; two children, Chris Fauber of Dardanelle, Ashley Hobby (Kevin) of Russellville; one sister, Johnnie Cathey of Little Rock; one brother, David Alan Cathey (Angie) of Lincoln, Nebraska and six grandchildren, Presley, Summer, Haley, Cody, Avery and Landon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, February 26, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville.
