Nina Lou Cherry age 86 of Havana went to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband Frank and son Randy, Sunday, June 26, 2016.

She was born June 3, 1930 in Hugo, Oklahoma to the late Willie & Betty Lee Moore Owens. Nina was a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church and a cook at the WYC School.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Cherry; son, Randy Cherry; brothers, Raymond, Thurman, Winford "Fudd", and Bob Owens.

Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Pat & Mike Novinger of Danville; Connie & Jeff Curtis of Havana; Tammy Hughes of Waverly, KS.; grandchildren, Traci Apple husband Dan; Chris Bottoms wife Stormy;  Katie Shelton; Nikki Novinger; Rance Novinger and Mallory; Sadie Moore; great-grandchildren, Dylan Morgan wife Jodi; Blake Morgan; Kamryn Apple; Tristin & Kennedy Bottoms; Airastyn Novinger; Madison Novinger; step-grandchildren, Daniel & Hannah Apple; sister that momma never had,     Elaine Earls of Havana; brother, Jackie (Claudia) Owens of Sand Springs, OK.; sisters-in-law, Billie Owens of Havana; Selma Owens of Waveland; several nephews, nieces and many friends.

Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at WYC Church of Christ with Bro. Eddie Morton, Bro. Jeff Smith and Bro. Poppa John McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Les Gorman, J.W. Johnson, Wayne Bell, Robin Carpenter, Tommy James, and Charlie Carpenter.

Honorary pallbearers include Steve Chambers and Larry Garner.
