Nina Bell Rowland Gist age 85 of Centerville died Sunday, March 6th, 2015. She was born April 4, 1930 at Midway, Arkansas to the late Robert and Mittie Carie Rowland. Nina was a great women of God who loved gardening, sewing and most of all getting to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles, Bobby and George Rowland; three sisters, Nettie Rowland, Betty Avery and Ruby Potts; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Riley Melton.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Arrie Gist of Centerville; two children, Steve Gist (Tracy) of Dover and Kathy Whitlow (James) of Ola; four brothers, Jay, James, Ray and Ricky Rowland; three sisters, Lois Robinson, Virginia Joshlin and Wanda Standridge; seven grandchildren, Kara Asner, Vanessa Lambert, Michael Poole, Nicole Miller, Shane, Tasha and Lonnie Whitlow; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9th 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle. A full obit will run in Wednesday's Courier.
