Norman David Morris age 82 of Portland, Tennessee died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Henderson Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was born March 6, 1935 in Hector, Arkansas to the late Dave and Ollie Mae Cobb Morris. He was a boat captain for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Darter Morris; two brothers, Willis Ray Morris, Bobby Jean Morris and one sister, Lou Van Hollabaugh.

Survivors include his children, Ricky Morris, Toni Tackett (Butch), Susan Koop, Rhonda Strange (Scott); stepchildren, Larry Nichols (Shirley), Linda Thomason (William), Ralph Myers (Regina); two sisters, Verbal Hurtado (Herby), Mabel Rhodes (Whiskers); eighteen grandchildren; twenty- four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
