Omar Jerry Harrington, 82, passed away on December 2, 2023, at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

Omar served his country as a bosun mate in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged on December 14, 1964. Following his military service, he worked in the construction industry with the California Ironworkers Association. In 1980, he made Arkansas his home, where he worked as a mechanic at Wayne Poultry until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Harrington (AR); daughter, Michelle Harrington (CA); father, Omar Lambert Harrington (OH); and mother, Elizabeth Sien Harrington Vonderhaar (CA). He is survived by his son, Wayne Harrington (CA), as well as his stepdaughters, Tiffany Daniel (OK) and Shauna Donnell (AR), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
