Opal L. Norton, age 89 of Danville, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at her home. She was born November 16, 1932 in Peaster, Texas to the late Jesse Welborn and Retta Mitchell Welborn. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 60 years, Ted Norton; her son, Ray Norton and her grandsons, Seth Norton and great grandson, Cole Whitley.

Survivors include two children, James Norton (Kim), Ted Norton; two brothers, James Welborn, Marvin Welborn; one sister, Elsie Porterfield; grandson and caregiver, Trevor Norton and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lelon Carter, Brandon Carter, Chad Carter, Logan Carter, Ed Reece and Mac Carter.
