Orval Shore, age 97, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born August 24, 1926 in Salk County, Woodland Wisconsin to Amasa and Ivah Kopenhafer Shore.

Orval loved God, his family, and participating in church. He grew up on a dairy farm and developed a love for animals, especially horses, which he enjoyed training and riding.

He left the dairy business, moved to Arkansas and worked for Arkla Gas Company. He worked for Chambers Bank at Danville, Arkansas for many years before his retirement.

Orval was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Marie Shore; daughters, Delores Shore, Patsy Packard; sisters, Elda Shore, Lodean Dean, Edith Butson; brother, Cleon Shore and a grandson, David Haulmark.

Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Haulmark (Wayne); two brothers, Charle Shore (Joan), Paul Shore; grandchildren, Carla Crenshaw (John), Jeff Haulmark, Marcie Gilliam (Brady), Sam Packard (Lindsay), Stephanie Cimballa (Daniel); sixteen great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, February 19, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Loyd Miller Officiating. Burial will be held in Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sam Packard, Braden Packard, Jeff Haulmark, Daniel Cimballa, Mike Puckett, Tom Miller and Kelby Haulmark.
