Ozell Swaim Apple, 82 of Havana, died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born January 23, 1932 in Havana to Jess and Evy Cherry Swaim. She retired from Today's Kids as a line worker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy and Curmit; and a sister Pauline Greenfield. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joe; sons, John (Shirley) Apple of Mayflower, Mike (Tracy) Apple of Dardanelle, Lonnie (Anita) Apple of Clarksville; daughters, Marcia (Dan)Terry of Danville, Renee (Tom) Ernst of Havana; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Chambers and Sue Chambers of Havana; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 18, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Havana First Baptist Church with Rev. W.A. Gorman Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home in Danville. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
