Pam Swaffar Pamela Sue Swaffar age 55 of Hot Springs died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at National Park Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1958 at Morrilton to Truman James Swaffar and Bettie Frances McKown. She loved to read and study astrology, listen to music and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Swaffar; one brother, Larry Tapp; her grandparents, John and Christine McKown. Survivors include her husband, Phillip Howard of Hot Springs; parents, Truman and Ruby Swaffar of Russellville; mother, Bettie Myrick of Georgia; three children, Reeb Ford of Hot Springs, Jesse Jon Howard of Russellville, Bailey Howard of Little Rock; three sisters, Tammy Lynn Nemitz of Georgia, Chretha McKown Kelley of South Carolina, Tammy Nanette Lamar of Russellville; three brothers, Doug Tapp of Russellville, Harry Tapp of Oklahoma, Jerry Swaffar of Russellville; three grandchildren, Trenten and Trinity Howard both of Dover, Breezy Rain of Hot Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Burial will be Roberts Town Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.
