Patricia A. George age 86 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Vincent health Systems in Little Rock. She was born January 6, 1932 at Dardanelle to the late Norman E. and Nellie Ross Ward. She was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and was a school teacher at the Dardanelle Primary School for the past 65 years. She loved and enjoyed going to and organizing every class and family reunion that she could do and putting photo books together and going shopping with her daughter and granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buddy George.

Survivors include her three children, Mark George (Donna), Jamie George (Belinda), Suzanne Bright (Russell) all of Dardanelle; one brother, James Ward of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Carolyn McElroy; three grandchildren, Nick George, April Thomesen (Anthony), Greg Judkins (Jennifer); six great grandchildren, Josten Rudder, Chris and Hunter Thomesen, Addy and Emma Judkins, Kymber Rose George; one great great grandchild, Jontaye Cummings and many nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt, Alma Staten of New Blaine.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Dardanelle Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Auten and Bro. Ralph Weinhold officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Ward, David Ward, Joe Lane, Hunter Thomesen, Anthony Thomesen, Greg Judkins, Nick George.

Honorary Pallbearers will be present and former faculty members of the Dardanelle Primary School and Elders of Dardanelle Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Dardanelle Church of Christ,
