Steve Mercer Paul Steven Mercer Sr age 58 of Plainview died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his home. He was born May 30, 1955 at Little Rock to the late Harold J. and Jessie Mae carter Mercer. He loved to fish, hunt and doing anything outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Mercer. Survivors include one son, Paul Mercer Jr of Plainview; two daughters, Nicole Chafin of Russellville, Mindy Metcalf and husband Shanon of Missouri; one brother, David Mercer of Springdale; grandchildren, Emily and Amy Mercer of Conway as well as other grandchildren; mother of Paul, Karen Wedge and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 11:00A.M. to 3:00P.M.,Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Family will hold a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
