Paul Petty Paul Dwayne Petty age 81 of Dardanelle died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1931 at Black Oak, Arkansas to the late John Everett and Arah May Mangrum Petty. He was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptisy Church in Burton, MI and the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Dean Petty; three sisters, Martha Vorhees, Betty Kraus and Sueann Petty. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who prayed for us or helped in any way during Paul's illness. He loved teasing his kids and grandkids and all his relatives. He loved to fish and was always working. He loved his family and his Wal-Mart Dog Lady but most of all he loved his church and God. Survivors include his wife, Ada Nell Thomas Petty of Dardanelle; his children, Thomas M. and Catherine Petty of Clio, MI, Paul R. Petty of Dardanelle, AR, Nancy and Richard Hoffman of Waterford, MI, Richard and Katrina Petty of Durand, MI; brothers, Hoyt Petty, James Petty, Thomas D. Petty, Raymond Thomas, Gale Thomas, Jerry Strother; sisters, Patricia Wallace, Nancy Thomas, Eloise Strother, Patsy Thomas, Terri Turner, Sarah Petty, June Petty and Lena Thomas; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Family will hold a Memorial Service at 11:00A.M., Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tom McElmurry and Leonard Moses officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Eubanks, Leonard Moses, Michael J. Petty, Jason Smith, Josh Smith, Austin Petty and Jerry McIntyre.
