Heavens door was opened wide October 12, 2011, when Pauline Earls arrived at the Golden Gates. Pauline Earls was born on December 27, 1922 as the second child to William Edward Parks and Carmen Earcle Phillips Parks . Pauline will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and aunt. Pauline worked as a young lady helping her father making molasses, saw milling, farming and served as mid-wife to several ladies of the community.
In 1945 Pauline married Charles Ernest Earls and together they had five children. She raised the children until they all reached school age, then started her public work history as a cook at the Dardanelle Elementary School, later she worked at Dardanelle Nursing Home, Frontier Hotel, and Senior Companion.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest, daughter Mary Earls Clopton Shorey, brother Clarence Parks, and sister Learene Threadgill.
Survivors include one son William Earls (Kay) of Malvern, three daughters Martha Coker of Conway, Marie Earls of Atkins and Margaret Davenport of Dardanelle. Six grandchildren, grandsons Kevin Earls (Ashley) of Whitesboro, Tx, Waylon Earls (Kristy) of Derby, Kansas, Chris Davenport of Dardanelle, Daniel Coker (Kathy) of Conway, Corey Earls (Jamie) of Russellville, and granddaughter Tamara Hartwick of Atkins. Six great-grandchildren Drake, Brooklyn, Jackson, and Colton Earls, Hayla and Daniel Coker Jr. Four sisters, Ruby Gilbert and Earcle Sides of Dardanelle, Ruthie Dean of Lubbock, Tx, and Faye Adkison of Hemet, California, One brother Charles Parks of Dardanelle, Jewell Hancock best friend / honorary sister of Dardanelle and numerous other family and friends.
Pauline was a life long member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, attending Sulphur Springs as a child and Gum Springs where she and Ernest raised their children.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M.
