Pauline "Podge" Harris age 97 of Danville passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at her home.

She was born December 11, 1922 in Belleville, Arkansas to the late Chester & Bessie Moudy Barrick. She was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church and she was a mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Berry Harris, parents, Chester & Bessie Barrick, siblings, Earl, Doyle, LC, and Wayne Barrick and Lamoyne Moudy and grandson, Christopher Harris.

Survivors include her 6 children, Virginia Harris, Jerry Harris (Mel), Mary Joy, Paula Wood (Ron), Renna Threadgill (Allen), and Bryian Harris; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be for family only at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Danville First Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Morris officiating. Private burial will be at Russell Cemetery in Belleville. Due to the coronavirus, Cornwell Funeral Homes are taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone protected.
