Pearl Gregory
Lois Pearl "Bell" Gregory, age 88 of Hector, died Friday, September 8, 2017 at her home. She was born October 11, 1928 at Smyrna, Arkansas to the late Sebastian and Elsie Pack Bell. She was a member of the Hector Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was always available to do whatever work needed to be done. Pearl was an avid basketball fan, loved cooking, playing dominoes, and everyone knew her as Memaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Gregory; one infant son, Donnie Jack Gregory; one infant daughter, Virgie Mae Gregory; three brothers, Clinton, Cleatus and Cleveland Bell; four sisters, Joann Tannehill, Purna Bell, Mary Bell and Patsy Housley.
Survivors include five children, Sue Bice and husband Doug of Fort Smith, Peggy Gregory of Hector, Sammie Case and husband Todd of Russellville, Frank Gregory and wife Becky of Kiefer, Oklahoma, Tammy Duncan and husband Jeff of Dover; three brothers, Donnie Bell and wife Shirley of California, Clendon Bell and wife Pauline of California, Johnny Bell and wife Joyce of Tilly; three sisters, Pauline Casey of Falling Water, Joyce Aday and husband Lyle of Hector, Para Lee Freeman of Scottsville; special nephew, Marty Gregory; thirteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, September 11, 2017 at Hector Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Gregory and Bro. Terry Latham officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery in Ben Hur. Visitation will be held Sunday, 3:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers will be Boone Clifford, Josh Bice, Matthew Moran, Jonah Duncan, Justin Duncan and Marty Gregory.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her Sons-in-law.
