Peggy Distel Peggy Ann Distel age 63 of Jarrell, TX formerly of Dardanelle died Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Hospice Austin's Christopher House in Austin, Texas. She was born December 13, 1948 at Russellville to the late PK and Lena Mae Crain Rook. She was a Freight Broker for Little John Transportation Services. She loved her grandkids, also loved to work in her flower beds, loved watching American Idol, Nascar and football. She enjoyed camping, fishing and quilting. Most of all she loved shopping for her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Percy Kenneth "Kenny Boy" Rook Jr. Survivors include her son, Hence Distel and wife Misty; three grandchildren, Madison Distel, Blake Distel, Jackson Distel; one sister, Carol McLain; a niece, Jennifer Marrs and husband Matt; great nieces, McKenna Marrs, Dawson Marrs. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Josh Crites officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Dale, Steven Dale, Donnie Hodges, Tracy Pellerin, Casey Foremam, Janine Vice, Donna James, Roxanne Collins, & Debbie Witt.
