Glendora Pauline "Polly" Chandler age 88 of Russellville passed away Saturday, February 16 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born October 14, 1924 in New Salem, Pennsylvania to the late Glen Mack and Lena Clingan Cooley. She was of the Episcopalian faith, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After retiring from Peoples Bank after 25 years of service, she moved to Largo FL and worked at Val-Pak for 10 years before retiring again to pursue her passion of shopping, traveling and going out to eat. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, V. N. Chandler; daughter, Jamie Lynn Whittington; son-in-law John Everhart and sister Armeda Sleighter. Survivors include her two daughters, Kay Kim Merritt and husband David of Clarksville and Lisa Ann Everhart of Russellville; brother Mack Cooley and sister-in-law Loretta of Uniontown PA ; five grandchildren Maegan Whittington Vencill and husband Brandon of Ft. Worth, Tx , Emily Whittington of Ft. Worth, TX , Marissa Merritt of Oklahoma City, OK, Dylan Merritt and wife Alicia of Lamar, AR , Tanner Everhart of Russellville; three great grandchildren Madalyn Vencill, Shane Patterson and Kadence Merritt. Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John McCourt officiating.
