Blackie Cossey

Blackie (Radis) Cossey, age 75, of London died on September 24, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1943 to the late Radis Cossey and Stella Duncan Cossey. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Van Horn; a son, Ricky Cossey; grandson, Trevor Van Horn; brother, Randy Cossey; and uncle Lonnie Cossey.

Blackie loved gardening, reading, and fishing but most of all he deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He was an army veteran who served in Germany. He was a lifelong plumber and always enjoyed helping others in need.

Survivors include his daughter, Kim Witt and husband Michael; son in law, Scott Van Horn, and his three grandchildren, Carter Witt (Elizabeth), Dalton Van Horn (Nikki Wilburn), and Madison Van Horn. Siblings include: Delbert Cossey and wife Sondra; Lum Cossey and wife Lena; Bobby Cossey and wife Mary; Ann Byers and husband Buddy; Larry Joe Cossey and wife Carol and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00A.M. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector, Arkansas.
