Randall Randy Wayne Cherry age 58 of Havana, AR. passed away July 30, 2011 after his big heart gave out. Randy was the best son, brother, Dad, Pop, uncle, cousin and friend. He was born November 4, 1952 in Ft. Smith, AR. to Frank & Nine Owens Cherry. Randy retired from Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 155 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie & Betty Moore Owens and Jim & Sadie Brasher Cherry. Survivors include his daughter &son-in-law, Traci & Dan Apple of Belleville; grandchildren, Dylan & Blake Morgan & Kamryn Apple; step-grandchildren Daniel and Hannah Apple all of Belleville; parents, Frank & Nina Cherry of Havana; sisters & brothers-in-law, Pat & Mike Novinger of Danville; Connie & Jeff Curtis of Havana; Tammy & Ben Hughes of Waverly, KS; Randy loved and left behind many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss his big laugh. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Havana First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smith, Bro. John McCourt and Rev. Bob Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville. Pallbearers include Bruce Crowley, Jeremy Rollans, Ernie Longing, Rance Novinger, Steve Chambers and Harold McQueen. Honorary pallbearers include Danny Owens, Danny Barnett, Mark Maughn, Perry Owens, Bill Beatty, Paul Jones, Tommy James, Charles Carpenter, Kermit Brannon, Larry Garner and members of the Plumber & Pipefitters Local Union #155.
