Rebecca Jane Bryson, of Dardanelle, passed from this earth to heaven to be with her beloved husband on August 21, 2016.  She was born on October 11, 1929 and was married to Elwood C. "Bill" Bryson on August 17, 1947.

Rebecca Jane is preceded in death by her husband Bill; parents Julius and Maxine Adney; and brother J.C. Adney.   She is survived by her three sons, Michael Adney Bryson (Tammy) of Russellville; John Clayton Bryson (Becki) of Dardanelle; and Joe Buck Bryson (Karen) of Cabot; grandchildren Michael Bryson Jr., Scott Bryson, Erin Glover, Zac Bryson, and Zayne Bryson; Sharon Wesley, niece, Carrel Adney (Nancy) nephew, 5 great grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rebecca Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pleasure in caring for all of her family and enjoyed cooking and canning fruits and vegetables from her husband's garden.  She was a life-long member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church where she served as secretary and pianist.

Rebecca Jane was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Boyce Woods VFW Post 3141 Ladies Auxiliary, the DAR, and the women's sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.  Rebecca Jane retired from ARVAC, Inc. after many years of service.

Visitation will be at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle Tuesday, August 23rd from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service will be at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle Wednesday August 24th at 10:00 am.  Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dardanelle following the service. Pall bearers are Lou Vitale, Mike Miller, Carrel Adney, Mike Glover, Michael Bryson and Scott Bryson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery Fund at River Town Bank.
