Rebecca Sue Gray, 93, of Dardanelle passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born Nov. 26,

1931, in Chickalah, to Stanley Livingston Mercer and Daisy Ellen Fraser Mercer. She married George Earl Gray on Dec. 18, 1948, and they were

married for 66 years. Rebecca and Earl were active members of Gum Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Faith Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and six siblings: Jack, Johnie, Delphene, Stanley Jr., Elizabeth Anne, and Frieda.

Rebecca is survived by her daughters Venetta Moczygemba (Allen) and Karen Adney; grandchildren: Joey Vaughn (Deidre), Justin Vaughn

(Carin), Lane Moczygemba (Shelby), Ross Moczygemba (Mallory), Heather Gunn (Jeremy), Amanda Talley (Joe), Samantha Grayson, and

Matthew Adney; six great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn North and Barbara Pfeifer (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.
