**Richard Everett Adams of Dardanelle**

Born on June 26, 1938, Richard Adams passed peacefully in his home on Monday August 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving children.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Adams; his son, Ronnie Adams; and his parents, Earl and Lois Adams. Richard is survived by his children, Robin Talley, Amanda Adams Light, Mark Adams and Nikki Davis; and two siblings, Wanda Ragsdale and Ray Adams; as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.

Richard lived a life of passion and purpose. He loved fishing, sports, hunting, horses, and never missed an opportunity to brag about his children & grandchildren.  He had a legendary pitching arm and an undeniable expertise about the game. But above all, he dedicated his life to sharing the love of Jesus. He pastored Robinson Point Church for over 20 years. Whether behind a pulpit, on a ball field, at a Razorback game or wherever and whenever you might find him he was spreading the Gospel!

"Papa Richard" as he was called by many,  was a hard working farmer and beloved coach.  He was known for his generous spirit and magnetic personality that drew people to him. He was a man of his word, always ready to lend a helping hand, and he loved others sacrificially. To Richard, there were no strangers—only friends he hadn't met yet. To know him was to love him.

Richard will be deeply missed, but his love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with David Owens officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 12:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Adams, Conlan Light, Austin Thomas, Lance Adams, Jason Adams, David Talley, Jason Davis, Eric Lee and honorary pallbearer Keelan Davis.
