On January 10, 2020, Richard Patrick Delgado Age 63 of Clarksville, AR. went to rest in the Lord. He was born March 17, 1956 in Red Bluff, CA. to the late Pascual and Ruth Simonin Delgado. Richard was the most unique individual. He never met a stranger and everyone he came into contact with was a better person for having known him. He had a heart of gold. He believed in helping others if he had the means possible because God had richly blessed him and he wanted to share God's love with them. Richard loved being outdoors, playing music, cooking, fishing and spending time with loved ones. He was proud of both his Hispanic and Native American heritage. He loved cooking Mexican food and doing Indian dances around the fire pit with all his loved ones. He is truly going to be missed by all who knew him. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and Ramona Cumpsten who became his mother at the age of 4.

He is survived by his wife, Shela Delgado of Clarksville, Ar. and daughters LaKeshia Pelts of Dumas, Ar. and LakeLyn Cotton of Clearfield, Utah. Granddaughters Kamarii Pelts and Azlyn Keylon. Brothers Virgil Gonzales of Colusa, Ca. and Johnnie (Sharon) Gonzales of Covelo, Ca. Sisters Hazel Longmire of Colusa, Ca. Yolanda Delgado of Sacramento, Ca. Sandra Delgado of Red Bluff, Ca. and Michelle Clement of Durham, Ca. Brother in law and sister in law Vernon and Cheryl Heath of Subiaco, Ar. and Mother in law Mary Pelts of Lamar, Ar.

Richard requested to be cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

We would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses at UAMS in Little Rock, Ar. who took such wonderful care of Richard and made him a part of their family.
