Marlin Spain
November 24, 1944 – July 9, 2025
Richard (Dick) Marlin Spain age 80 of Limestone, Tennessee, passed away on July 9, 2025 from complications of PSP (Parkinson's Disease) which he battled admirably for 8+ years. He was born November 24, 1944 in Chickalah, Arkansas to the late William E. and Nellie Mays Spain. Richard had many jobs prior to becoming a farmer in Limestone in 1992. He raised grass-fed beef and chickens and sold beef cuts and eggs under the label Graysburg Hills Farm. He loved and performed old country music for many years. He was also a skilled fisherman.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Ashlin and brothers, Neil Spain, Cleo (Dink) Spain and Robert (Bob) Spain.
Survivors include his loving partner of 45 years, Michele Bradley; his son, David Spain (Dawn); his daughter, Meagan Spain; brothers, John Spain (Becky), Ken Spain (Pat), Kirby Spain; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and their children; Michele's mother, Opal Bradley, and his dog Roxie.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Dacus Cemetery on Alpha Road in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
