Richard Peter "Ponch" Casillas Jr. age 56 of Danville passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Heritage Living Center in Conway.

He was born July 6, 1964 in Walnut Creek, California to Richard Peter & Frances Gloria Robles Casillas. Ponch was a 1982 Danville High School graduate, he was a member of the 1981 Danville Little Johns Football State Championship Team, and he was for many years the "Ball Boy" for the Danville football teams. He was retired from ANO.

He was preceded in death by his father; and grandson, Remmington Rainey.

Survivor include his wife Judy Hall Casillas; mother, Frances & Ed Gottlieb; children, Rich & Tabbetha Casillas of Russellville; Noah Casillas of Centerville; Emily & Zach Ham of Centerville; step-children, Kimberly & Chris Brand of Plainview; Dereck & Jennifer Fowler of Dover; sister, Cynthia & Roy Hodges of Rover; brother, Mark & Lindsey Shepard of Mt. Vernon, MO.; 16 grandchildren, and1great-grandson.

Memorial service will be 10:00 am Monday, January 25, 2012 at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Seth Walker officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 24, at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel.

In honor of Ponch the family is asking everyone to wear Danville green or camouflage.
