Riley Ornsbey age 73 of Rover died Saturday, April 6 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 18, 1939 in Briggsville to the late Fred and Bertha Bratton Ornsbey. He was a logger, hunter and an avid fisherman. He attended the 1st Baptist Church in Rover. He was preceded in death by his parents, children, James David Ornsbey, Cathy Ornsbey, brothers, Bobby Ray Ornsbey and Johnny Eugene Ornsbey, sister, Eva Mae Dickens, half brother, George Ornsbey. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bobbie Nichols Ornsbey, children, Robert Ornsbey of Rover; Becky Foster of Danville; Sandy Ornsbey of Rover; sisters, Ima Jean Blankenship and Bonnie Jean Stone both of Rover; Ruby Janet Phillips of El Dorado; Martha Jane Paine of Russellville; grandchildren, Matthew, Regina, Ashley, Kimmi and Toby, great-grandchildren, Nate and Mia. Services will be Tuesday, April 9 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church in Rover with Brother Monroe Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Hunts Chapel Cemetery in Rover. Visitation will be 12:30 until 2 PM before the service. Pallbearers will be Arlin Blaylock, Gary Roberson, Gary Morrison, Jason Henry, Michael Stone and Rita Emery.
