RM "Shorty" Graham, 86, of Mt George, Arkansas passed away August 11, 2013 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 13, 1926 in Sugar Grove, Arkansas to Johny and Gernie Smith Graham. He spent his childhood on a cotton farm and swore the best invention to date was not a computer but the cotton picker. He met his wife and lifelong love Imogene Littleton and was married shortly before he enlisted in the Army. He served during WWII in General MacArthur's motor pool and in the Engineers during the Korean War. He returned home safely from serving his country and moved to Cleveland, Ohio to work for General Motor Company. He was soon called home to care for his ailing in-laws in Arkansas where he bought some land and started a small farm in Mount Geroge, AR. He and Imogene had one son, Glendon Graham. His devoted son Glendon, his wife Donna, and their two children Jackie and Nick lived beside him in Mount George. RM was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time with his friends and family. He, Imogene, and his dear friends Robert and Virginia Frost often held town fish fries. He was a good story teller and town legend. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Johny & Gernie Graham, his wife Imogene Graham, and his sister, Johnna Faye McGee. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Glendon and Donna Graham of Mount George, two grandchildren, Jackie Lee of Stillwater Oklahoma and Nick Graham of Lowell, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
