Robert Eugene
Bradford
October 8, 1930 – July 28, 2017
Robert Eugene Bradford left his earthly body on July 28, 2017 at the ripe old age of 86. His body finally gave up on him after a lifetime of loving babies and chasing potential "sweet things." He was a beloved daddy, the best grandpa, and he loved his country and served in the U.S. Navy until he retired. He spent his lifetime trying to fill the lives of his loved ones with love and laughter. If anyone needed a daddy or grandpa he was your man. His life was dedicated to "his kids". It didn't matter what your nationality, race or lifestyle was, if you needed his love he gave it generously. His hobbies included doting on "his kids", fishing, hunting, singing old country tunes and waving at his neighbors as they drove past and honked.
His family would like to thank Dr. Tippin for insuring he had a good breakfast and the much needed energy to flirt with his girls and tell a good tale. As he left this world he stated that his precious daughter Debbie; his dearest brother Cecil and adopted grandbaby Michelle were there to accompany him on the final leg of his travels.
Robert is survived by a hoard of children and a boat load of beloved grandbabies and great grands. If you called him daddy or grandpa, he considered you his as well. He is also survived by his countless girl friends; several finances and more sweet things we could count at Chambers Memorial Hospital and Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Mt. George Church of Christ with Bro. Michael Ellis and Bro. Bruce Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers will be Matt Damon, Clay Damon, Josh Thomas, Jonathan Ellis, Chester Shelton, Ritchey Shannon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lora Beasley, Robert Jones, Seth Jones, O.J. Williams, Dee Bly, Jimmy Dean Jones, George Delonte, Bobby Lee Bradford, Lafe Bradford.
In lieu of flowers, please thank a staff member of Chambers Memorial Hospital or Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
