Robert Edward Corbin age 85 of Russellville died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born February 4, 1930 at Laroe, Georgia to the late Fred and Ruth Howell Corbin. He was a member of the 16th Street Church of Christ in Russellville, retired from United States Army where he was a 2 term Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Flying Distinguished Cross. After 21 years in the military, he went to work for Arkansas Parks and Recreation for the next 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and two children.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
