Robert "Bob" Dowling Sr

Robert "Bob" Gene Dowling Sr age 74 of Dardanelle finished his race on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Baptist Health in North Little Rock. He was born December 10, 1941 at Modesto, California to the late Sile and Grace Thomas Dowling. He attended the Russellville First Assembly of God Church. He was the past preacher at the Faith Church in Dardanelle and he was always helping people and delivering food to needy families. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Dowling; two sisters, Nina Horton and Lola Naida.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Christine Williams Dowling of Dardanelle; four children, Brenda Ashlock of Oregon, Robyn Cherry (Donny McConkey) of Dardanelle, Laura Cunningham (Mark) of Russellville, Robert Gene Dowling Jr (Courtney) of Russellville; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel in Dardanelle. A family conducted memorial service will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Russellville First Assembly with Rev. Robert Dowling Jr, Ronnie Morris and Mike Norberg officiating.
