Robert Edward "Sarge" Nichols age 85 of Ola passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at his home.

He was born August 2, 1933 in Booneville, MS to the late Robert Riley & Lina Viola Tigrett Nichols. He was a Korea & Vietnam Marine Veteran. He was a true Marine until the end.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lorene Nichols; parents; granddaughter, Beverly Fletcher; brothers, Ben, Howard, Luther, Oliver Nichols; sister, Mauveline Haynes.

Survivors include his children, Judy McClure of Jonesboro; Brenda & Billy Fletcher of Conway; Robin & Tim Miller of Lead, SD; John & Gracie Nichols of Casa; brothers, Fred & Ruth Nichols of Lenoir City, TN; Don & Idell Nichols of Coloma, MI; sister, Gladys Graham of Omaha, NE; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Casa Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy McMasters. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 am at the church before the service. Burial will be at Casa Cemetery with military honors.
