Obituary

Robert M. Harper age 91 of Bluffton, passed away Sunday, April, 11, 2021 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

He was born August 28, 1929 in Hot Springs to the late Clarence & Ethel Partain Harper. He was a member and deacon of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. He was also a cattle famer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers & sisters-in-law, Lonnie & Lida Harper and Jim & Eva Harper; granddaughter, Samantha Hale.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ida Faye Harper; son & daughter-in-law, Elden & Anita Harper of Rover; daughter & son-in-law, Romosha & Bill Bridges of Royal; brother & sister-in-law, Dewey & Bonnie Harper of Rock Springs; grandchildren, Bob Harper, Forestt & Stephanie Bridges; and Tuesdai Bridges; great-grandchildren, Travis Hale, Seth Hale, Gracyn Bristow, and Garrett Bristow; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April, 15, 2021 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Harper, Rev. Jimmy Scott, and Rev. Johnny Bratton officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 14, at the funeral home in Danville.

Pallbearers include Bob Harper, Forestt Bridges, Jim Harper, Dwight Harper, Lonnie Mungle, and Larry Ennis.

Honorary pallbearers include, Darrell Ault, Donnie Noles, Ray Duncan, Pennie Johnson and the Deacons of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank, Mitchells Nursing Home, Chambers Home Health and Arkansas Hospice for their excellent care.
