Robert Reed Sr Robert Gene Reed Sr age 79 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his home. He was born December 20, 1932 at Veedersburg, Indiana to the late Harry Kenneth and Margaret Genevieve Robins Reed. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Russellville Christian Center. He drove a truck for the Rendering Plant in Russellville, he loved to fish, hunt and watch cooking shows. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael K. Reed. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Loretta J. Reed of Dardanelle; four sons, Robert Gene Reed Jr and wife Linda of Artesia, NM, Danny Reed of Dardanelle, Howard Reed of Dardanelle, Mathew Reed of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Jeremy Reed, Cortney Reed, Hailey Reed all of Dardanelle; Bambi Maria Kern and husband Troy, Mandy Mullins and Christopher Dixon all of Artesia, New Mexico, five great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Tom Underhill officiating.
