Robert Edward Wimbush age 71 of Dardanelle died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1948 at England, Arkansas to the late Tommy Lee and Ruby Nell Jackson Wimbush. He was retired from Firestone in Russellville and he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl Eugene Wimbush.

Survivors include his five children, Donell Williams of Beebe, Alexander Wimbush of Colorado, Desma Smith of Kansas, Demetria Williams- Hupp of Kansas, MO, Hannah Wimbush of Russellville, AR; Four brothers, Wayne Wimbush, Eddie Wimbush, Tommy Lee Wimbush Jr., Anthony Wimbush all of Dardanelle, AR; eight sisters, Ella Riley and Johnny Barnes of Dardanelle, AR, Shirley Whitney and James Johnson of Kansas City, MO, Louise Wimbush and Earl Brown of Paris, AR, Carol Brown of Dardanelle, Loretta and Jerry Jordan of Sherwood, AR, Francis Wimbush and James Treadgill of Dardanelle, AR, Alice and Raymond Brown of Paris, AR, Limnie Thomas and Ronald Collier of Russellville, AR, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends and a very special friend Missy Wimbush, the mother of Alex and Hannah.

Pallbearers will include; David Brown, Dennis Brown, Glacious May, Joseph May, Justin Thomas, LeRoy Bervely, Curtis Watkins and Theodore Wright. Honorary Pallbearers; Wayne Wimbush, Eddie Wimbush, Anthony Wimbush, Tommy Wimbush, Johnny Barnes, Ronald Collier, James Threadgill and Ray Watkins. Services will be officiated by Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew, Sedrick Cross.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 5, 2019 at Dardanelle Cornwell Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
