Rodney Paul Mondey, age 48 of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home. He was born September 27, 1974 in Dallas, Texas to the late Robert Ned Mondey and Brenda Darlene Kitchens Mondey. Rodney was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Dardanelle, he loved spending time with his grandkids and he had a love for his family, and our Lord and studied the Bible. When able, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling with family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Jeff Kaufman.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Jo Ann Mondey of Dardanelle; three children, Dustin Ford (Heather) of London, Jennifer Moore (Rick) of Dardanelle, Staci Ford of Dardanelle; three sisters, Jeanette-Castaneda (Chente) of Midland, Texas, Michelle Renee Stovall (Thomas) of Russellville, Terri Kaufman of Roby, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tarin, Austin, MaryJane, Mazee, Julius, Lillie, Grayson and several nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00P.M., Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Dardanelle First Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. David Riker officiating.
