Laverne Williams

Rosie Laverne Williams age 77 of Russellville died Friday, August 5, 2011 at Saint Marys regional Medical Center. She was born May 7, 1934 at Bigelow to the late Oliver and Dottie M. Bailey Williams. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marie Baggett; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Glover.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Faasse and husband Frank of Jacksonville, Jayne Perrington and husband Richard of Denison, Texas, Karen Alvarado and husband Eloy of Sherman, Texas; one son, Eddie Burton of Russellville; one sister, Debbie Riddle and husband Archie of Russellville; two brothers, Billy Joe Williams and wife Sylvia of Amity, Kenneth Williams and wife Billie Carol of Russellville; special cousin, Anona Weaver of Booneville; eight grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren and her loving dog, Nana and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Bro. Lynn Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Harkeys valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, 3:00P.M. to 6:00P.M. at the funeral home.
