Roy Fay Colbert age 82 of Rover passed away Sunday September 23, 2012 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born April 12, 1930 in Plainview, Arkansas to the late Arlie & Faye Johnson Colbert. He was an Army Veteran, a manger for Coke Cola Company for 35 years in California, a cattle farmer, a mason, and a member of Rover Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ricky Lee Colbert; brother Joe Colbert and sister Emma Thomas Survivors include his wife of 62 years Sarah Watkins Colbert; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary & Pam Colbert of Simi Valley, CA; Edward Colbert of Los Angeles, CA; Karen & Terry King of Fayetteville, AR; honorary daughter Jaynie Roy-Harris of Ola; brother Bob & Marzelle Colbert of CA; sisters Ruby & John Stratton and Linda & Frank Perkins both of CA; grandchildren, Cortney, Nathan & Sara of Simi Valley, CA; Conner of Fayetteville; Cory & Gunner of Los Angeles, CA. Joshua of Las Vegas, NV 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at Rover Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Shipley officiating. Burial will be at Hunts Chapel Cemetery in Rover. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, at the funeral home.
