Roy Spencer Sergent age 73 of Russellville died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home. He was born May 12, 1943 at Kentucky to the late Jewell and Cindy Blevins Sergent. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, an auto body technician and a Baptist. He loved to fish, spend time with family, friends and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon Sergent, Charles Sergent and one stepson, Jack East.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Blaylock Sergent of Russellville; two sons, Jim Sergent of Arizona, David Sergent (Laurel) of Arizona; two stepdaughters, Holly Freeman (Brent) of Cabot, Tiffany East of Missouri; one brother, Bob Sergent of Arizona; two sisters, Wanda Myers of Arizona, Brenda Sergent of Arizona; three grandchildren, Janelle Sergent, Jeremy Sergent and Bliss Casteel all of Arizona; seven step grandchildren, Lauren East of Missouri, Heather East of Russellville, Taylor Vick and Trinity Vick both of Missouri, Emily Freeman and Hannah Freeman both of Cabot, Olivia East of Prairie Grove.
