Roy Yates

Roy Levear Yates age 72 of Russellville died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at North Logan Mercy Hospital. He was born September 25, 1938 at Hope to the late Arthur David and Bertha Mae Peyton Yates. He loved children and being home with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Melissa Reynolds; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pat Yates of Russellville; one daughter, Paula Latham and husband Ronald of Dardanelle; two brothers, Arthur Yates Jr. of Pine Bluff, Billy Yates of Oklahoma; one sister, Jean Henderson of Clarksville; four grandsons, Steven, Justin and Trent Latham all of Dardanelle, Austin Reynolds of Brazil; two great grandchildren, Molly, Mason and Maylee Latham all of Dardanelle.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Moores Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. in the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Arrangements By Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.
