Ruby Avery Ruby "Moody" Avery age 65 of Casa died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at St. Vincent Health System. She was born February 7, 1948 at Danville to the late Frank Monroe and Verna Mae Douglas Moody. She was a member of the Grace Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Casa. She loved her church, embroidering pillowcases and doting on her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Caleb Samuel Loyd Avery. Survivors include two sons, Samuel Avery Jr and wife Louise of Casa, Jeffery Scott Avery and wife Sayuri of Honalulu, Hawaii; one brother, Frank Moody of Picayune, Mississippi; two sisters, Nancy Hubbard and husband Larry of Rose Creek Community, Phylis Bowers and husband Bill of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Stephanie Kaperski of Little Rock, Bogan Avery of Searcy, Justin Avery of Little Rock, Josh Avery of Little Rock, Christopher Alexander of Casa, Larry Carney of Deer; one great grandchild, Corbin Kaperski of Little Rock and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, April 19, 2013 at Grace Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Casa with Bro. Chris Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Casa Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Barry Fisher , Joey Fisher, Joe Alexander, Brent Rainey, BC Rankin and Jeff May.
