Ruby Laverne Cates age 84 of Danville passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville.

She was born April 16, 1932 in Danville, to the late Jim Tom & Emmie Mae Horn Noblett. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Leroy Cates; brothers, Tommy Junior Noblett and Opal Glenn Noblett.

Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy Evans of Judsonia; Helen & Dal Young of Bella Vista; Linda & James Baisdon of Alaska; brothers, James & Barbara Noblett of Hot Spring; Billy Don & Barbara Noblett of North Little Rock; Larry Wayne & Sue Noblett of Dardanelle; Roger & Darlene Noblett of Dardanelle; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 10 am February 17, 2017 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Vosburg officiating.

Burial will be Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday, February 16, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Dal Young, Chris Young, Chuck Kitchens, Brennan Kitchens, Cole Kitchens, and Stacey Noblett.
