Ruby Nell Parks Gilbert, 93, of Dardanelle, Arkansas died Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born to Will and Carmen Phillips Parks on September 6, 1927. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Cliff C. Gilbert, son, Jerry A. Gilbert, sisters, Pauline Earls and Learene Jetton Threadgill, brothers, Clarence and Charles Parks.

Survivors include a son, Max A. Gilbert (Sharon), daughter-in-law, Linda Gilbert Jennings (James), granddaughter, Meghan Hamlin (Chad), grandsons, Benjamin (Laura), Jonathan (Hayley), Matthew (Kristina), and Alex, great grandson, Hayden Hamlin, sisters, Ruthie Dean, Earcle Sides, and Faye Adkinson, brother-in-law, Ray Gilbert, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ruby was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 8:45A.M., to 9:45A.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle prior to the service. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:45A.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel with Bro. Carl Fair officiating. Burial will be held at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
