Ruby Wimbush Ruby Nell "Jackson" Wimbush age 87 of Danville died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She was born January 26, 1927 at Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Robert Henry and Mahali Cain Jackson. She was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, dance and can her garden vegetables. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Lee Wimbush Sr.; three sons, Bobby Lee Wimbush, Carl Eugene Wimbush, infant son; one granddaughter, Linda Renee Watkins; two great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Ella Mae Riley, Johnny Barnes both of Danville, Shirley Whitney of Kansas, MO, Robert Edward Wimbush, Ashley Standridge both of Pottsville, Wayne Wimbush and wife Tonya, Eddie Wimbush, Billy York, Tommy Lee Wimbush Jr. and wife Christine all of Dardanelle, Alice Brown and husband Raymond of Paris, Linnie Thomas, Ronald Collier both of Russellville, Louise Wimbush, Earl Brown both of Paris, Carol Brown, Loretta Poole, Francis Wimbush all of Dardanelle, Anthony Wimbush of Subiaco; two grandsons, Alonza Shears, Mario Alvarez both of Kansas City, MO; special sons, Ray Blake of Tulsa, Freddie Hardgrave of Crossett; forty five grandchildren; eighty six great grandchildren; thirty great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, February 3, 2014 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew and Bishop Joseph A. White officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Monday, 12:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. in the chapel prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Dennis Brown, David Brown, Ray Watkins, Curtis Watkins, Kyle Thomas, Quintin Thomas, Glacious May, Michael Brown, Foster Riley, Tommy J. Wimbush, Octavious May, Daniel Eddleman, Roderic Chaten. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Wimbush, Wayne Wimbush, Tommy Wimbush, Eddie Wimbush, Anthony Wimbush, Ray Blake, Freddie Hardgrave, Dennis Brown.
