Blake Ellis Russell Blake Ellis age 22 of Cabot formerly of Dardanelle died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home. He was born July 22, 1990 at Dardanelle to Emmitt Ellis and Kitty M. Haney. He was a member of the Delaware First Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and rabbit field trailing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Johnny Mae Haney, James and Bertena O'Gwynn, Emmitt Sr and Effie Ellis. Survivors include his parents, Kitty and James O'Gwynn of Cabot and Emmitt Ellis Jr and wife Kim of Dardanelle; sister, Jessica Teeter and husband Jason of Dover; step grandparents, Carl and Mary Duvall of Dardanelle; one stepsister, Lacy Self and husband Cecil of Dover; two stepbrothers, David Shaw and wife Taylor of Russellville and Keeton Shaw of Dover; six nieces, Nadia Burnham, Janis Teeter, Ragan Teeter, Keelei Teeter, Jaycee Hamm and Carmen Hamm all of Dover and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Paul Farnum and Bro. Wylie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery (Haney Cemetery) next to his beloved granny. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. in the chapel.
