Ruth Helen Konek, age 93 of Russellville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. She was born February 6, 1929 in Centerville, Pennsylvania to the late Oliver Ray Tanner and Daisy Catherine Pepper Tanner. She was an artist and a former member of the Kansas Art Guild. She enjoyed photography as a hobby. She also was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Russellville and she retired from Security Abstract and Title Company in Wichita, Kansas. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Peter J. Konek; brother, John Tanner and niece, Pam Lee.

Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Lee (Jim); one brother, William Ray Tanner; nieces, Tracy Vantine (Randy), Johnetta Ryan (Tom), Weslene Tallmadge (Jack), Jana Ward (Larry), Jill Konek; nephews, J.D. Konek, Jeff Konek, Adam Tanner (Tess), and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas at a later date.
