Ruth L. Prochazka age 96 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born May 7, 1925 in Delaware, Arkansas to the late George Bratton and Ider Kelley Bratton. Her hobbies included gardening, going thrift shopping and caring for  children. She was also a caregiver to several families in the community, as well as her nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charley Kubat; second husband, Edward R. Prochazka; one daughter, Ruth Lee Smith and three sisters, Ruby Hutcherson, Retha Gist and Reba Guynes.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Glen Allen Haney (Dawn), Patricia Holiman (David); four great grandchildren, Tiffany Hogrefe (Jeff), Tyler Haney (Ashley), Morgan Hayes (Lee) and Maranda Haney, two great great grandchildren, Anden Haney and Sage Lee Wilkins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab for the love and care they provided to Ruth "Granny".

Funeral services will be private.
