Somphone "Sam" Vonenivong age 55 of Russellville died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. He was born October 1, 1957 in Vientiane, Laos to Chanton Vonenivong and the late Syboum Meimongkhone. He was a plate operator for Con Agra in Russellville. He loved to go fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters and a brother. Survivors include his wife, Nak Bounyavong of Russellville; two daughters, Lucy Vonenivong and Lisa Vonenivong both of Michigan; one granddaughter, Arielle Dabandons of Michigan; three sisters and five brothers. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held from 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. before the service.
