Samuel Wayne "Sam" Talley, age 65 of New Blaine, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home. He was born March 21, 1958 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Nevath Vengimon Talley and Martha Jean Carter Talley. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a Master Plumber. He was also a United States Navy Veteran, serving from 1975-1978. Sam loved his family and friends, and his greatest joys in life were his nieces and nephews. He recently celebrated his 30th year of sobriety. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: one brother, Martin Talley (Jo), three sisters, Loretta Stehle (David), Helen Palacio, Jonelle Fulmer (Dane), many beloved nieces, nephews cousins and his extended family, Dr. Lisa Snow, Daniel "Taz" Snow and David Snow.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with John Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

Pall bearers will be Joshua Parker, Flaco Chances Palacio, Nicholas Stehle, Jonathan Stehle, Gene Ground and Roger Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jacksonville Friends of the Animals, Community Cats of Central Arkansas, or Shoal Bay Animal Haven.
